I’m Ana Paula...

Ecosomatic Women’s Health Practitioner & Educator

AMAWA is one of the deepest gifts that motherhood has given me. It’s a sacred space, a container born from more than a decade of devotion to feminine wisdom, and over 20 years of experience, research, and personal transformation.

AMAWA is a calling from my soul, from my womb.

A calling to reconnect with the wisdom of the body.

To honor it as our temple.

To awaken joy, aliveness, and a deeper sense of wholeness and well-being.

AMAWA is an anchor for me, and for the community I serve.

My life has been a continuous quest to understand and remember the sacred. As a woman, I’ve walked through countless transformations and rites of passage. With every layer I’ve peeled back, I’ve found more of my true essence and from there, I’ve learned how to express my unique voice in the great circle of life.

Along this path, I’ve worn many hats. I once led a biotech company in Colombia, where I co-developed a patented alternative to antibiotics. I’ve consulted with organizations dedicated to improving women’s health and expanding access to sexual and reproductive education. This work has touched the lives of over 20,000 women and girls across Latin America and the U.S.

But beyond my intellect, I’ve devoted myself to awakening the intelligence of my body. Somatic work has been a powerful key, unlocking ancient wisdom, stored deep within.

Today, I walk alongside women as they navigate their unique rites of passage and hormonal journeys, offering guidance, support, and a space to reconnect with their inner wisdom.

In my dedication to cultivate more joy, I created La Matria womb puppet designed to help young women understand their hormones, and navigate their sexual and menstrual journeys with humor and empowerment.

I’ve also had the honor of guiding many group and individual experiences, exploring feminine ritual, storytelling, and the power of collective energy. Together, we study what it means to be human, to heal, to grow.

With a heart full of curiosity and a deep reverence for the sacred, I’ve spent years cultivating my spiritual path. My studies in indigenous cultures from South America and North America, have profoundly shaped the way I see life, healing, and womanhood.

I created AMAWA for the future generations. For my ancestors. To plant seeds of love, joy, and remembrance in the hearts of those who cross this path.

My hope is that these seeds take root… and gently transform your life, too.
