Perimenopause and menopause are a physiological, neurological, emotional, and spiritual initiation. However, in our current culture, women receive little guidance on how to move through them, leaving many feeling confused by their symptoms, dismissed by professionals, or simply alone in the process.
In a world that asks us to move faster, do more, and hold everything together, this space becomes an invitation to slow down. A place to feel supported, informed, and deeply connected as you navigate this transition with greater clarity and compassion.

Ecosomatic practice and the art of sensing

Ana Paula Jiménez is the founder of Amawa Academy, a space in service to women who feel called to awaken their life force and nourish their wellbeing. Through her work, she invites women to turn inward, trust the wisdom of their bodies, and allow this vital energy to guide them into a deeper connection with life.
As a Somatic and Hormonal Health Practitioner and Facilitator with over a decade of experience in women’s health, Ana supports women in her private practice in rebalancing their hormones and nervous system so they can feel truly at home in their bodies during key life transitions.
Her approach integrates Ecosomatic Therapy, Ancestral Ritual Wisdom, and Female Physiology, offering individual and group experiences that help women remember the intelligence of their bodies and root more fully into themselves and the world around them.
Originally from Colombia, Ana Paula now lives in Northern California with her husband and daughter.

- Ana has touched the lives of over 20,000 women through her work as a Product Designer, Product Manager and as a Consultant of organizations dedicated to improving women’s health and access to sexual and reproductive education across the U.S and Latin America.
- For the last 15+ years she has facilitated groups of women to connect with their body and pleasure and has created spaces to honor rites of passage like menarche, motherhood, perimenopause and menopause.
- She has a Masters in Medical Microbiology, a 250h certification in Ecosomatic Hormonal Health and has been trained in Trauma and nervous system regulation.
- Besides formal education, she has received teachings that have been passed down by indigenous lineages from South America and North America to support women and their body though major rites of passage.

Do I need to be in perimenopause or menopause before I take the calls ?
You don’t need to be in perimenopause or menopause to join the Wise Woman Sanctuary. This is a save space for you through the foundational principles and practices, ensuring you gain a comprehensive understanding, regardless of your experience level.
What areas of my life can this weekly calls help improve?
We believe that a process of transformation needs space, time, and slowness. However, this masterclass will open the door for you to have a different perspective on women’s health and it will expand your understanding beyond medical knowledge. This class will inspire you to deepen your relationship with your own womb and hormones. And understand from an embodied way, how does it feel to be in your own body and what does it need to be fully nourished. This class is a doorway to feel the pulse of the sacred feminine and the wisdom your womb carries.
How often and how long this calls are?
These are weekly calls of 1 hour and 15 minutes. They happen every Thursday from 5:15 pm – 6:30 pm PST and 8:15 pm – 9:30 pm EST.
